ILS Scheduling Coordinator

 Good-2-Go Oregon is Central Oregon's premiere community-based support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).  We specialize in high functioning adults who experience some form of Developmental Disability.   

The Independent Living Services, or ILS program is Good 2 Go's "Bread and Butter" program.  Most clients within the organization receive at least some level of Independent Living Supports.  These supports enable our clients to live independently, keep up with everyday life, and learn the skills they need to succeed in other programs.  Without the ILS programs, many of our clients would not have the tools they need for independent life and community access.

This role is designed to provide support to the current scheduling coordinator as the program grows.

The ILS Scheduler is the backbone of this highly important program.  It is the job of the scheduler to ensure that clients receive the services they need, at a time that is compatible with their schedule, and from a staff member who is able to serve them.  If this job is done correctly, it allows our clients to thrive with the support of their Life Skills Coach.

The ILS Scheduler is also the most important role for the well being of our staff members.  It is the job of the scheduler to ensure that staff members are getting the hours they need, at a time that is compatible with their schedule, and in a way that minimizes travel and other aspects of the job.  If this job is done correctly, it allows our employees to have a rewarding, sustainable and fulfilling career.

In terms of daily tasks, this is a fairly straightforward scheduling role.  The morning starts with catching up on voicemails, texts, and emails.  Then throughout the day you will receive calls from staff, clients, and family members regarding schedules.  Then, you make adjustments to the current schedules while planning the next week.  Scheduling is done through a web based platform called Alayacare (Experience in this platform is NOT required).  

Essential duties include: 

• Receiving and processing all scheduling needs for ILS clients and employees
• Coordinating with other program managers on the schedules of cross-trained employees
• Regularly communicating with employees, clients, and clients’ natural supports regarding scheduling
• Providing weekly and monthly reports to the ILS Program Manager
• Working with the Program Manager to meet program service goals and budget
• Assisting with the day to day implementation of policies and procedure
• Assisting the Program Manager as needed

We are looking for a firm, organized, and detail-oriented individual.  Candidates must show strong problem solving skills, communicate clearly, and have a solution orientated mindset. 

 You will be a strong candidate if you:  

• Have strong phone communication skills  
• Are patient and empathetic  
• Know how to "get the job done" 
• Can easily switch between big picture and detailed focus   

Hard requirements:  

• The ability to commute daily to the office
• A Current Driver's License (Licensing requirement) 
• Ability to pass a Background and DMV check (Licensing requirements) 
• Strong technology skills

FT Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM with a lunch break
• Current Scheduler averages a little over 40 hours per week.  We estimate this commitment to be around 170 hours/month or 42.5 hours/week.

PT Schedule:

• Monday - Friday Afternoons
• About 20 hours per week

Compensation:

• Starting Rate: $ 23.00 / hr
