Good-2-Go Oregon is Central Oregon's premiere community-based support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We specialize in high functioning adults who experience some form of Developmental Disability.
The Independent Living Services (ILS) department helps our clients learn valuable skills to live their own independent lives. These skills typically include both technical skills such as cooking, and soft skills such as socializing. This is an explicitly hands off program and does NOT involve cleaning, bathing, or feeding clients.
Our Life Skills Coaches help clients achieve their goals by providing in-home services focused around the teaching of important life skills. Common examples include teaching an employee how to cook, maintain their household, and keep track of their finances.
Generally speaking, our clients enjoy being active in the community and may need some support when outside their homes. Because of this "community engagement" goals tend to be a large part of the Life Skills Coach's role.
