What we do:

 Good-2-Go Oregon is Central Oregon's premiere community-based support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).  We specialize in high functioning adults who experience some form of Developmental Disability.   


The Employment Program helps clients find and maintain employment within the community.  Good 2 Go specializes in finding competitive, community-based employment with partners such as Safeway and Walmart.  The program first works with clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, identifies positions they would succeed in, works with the client and community hiring managers to secure the client a position, and then finally works with the client to help them maintain their new job. 

What you will do:

 Good-2-Go Oregon is seeking a HR Manager to oversee and implement the HR program at our agency.  As the Human Resource Manager, you will play a foundational role in the development of Good-2-Go staff, be responsible for the development and implementation of training programs, and ensure a smooth workflow between the HR department and the rest of the agency.


The HR manager works with the HR Assistant to provide an effective and approachable HR program.  As an agency, our goal is to foster a supportive, solution-oriented culture for all employees. You will provide leadership and support on committees within the agency and as a representative in the community.


Primary Responsibilities:


The Human Resources Manager is responsible for all aspects of HR at Good-2-Go.  This includes but is not limited to:


  1. Providing direct support in the identification and development of policy & procedural elements necessary for the on-going operation of the organization.
  2. Efficiently administering employee benefits such as Health Insurance, Worker's Compensation, and Injury Reports.
  3. Offering direct support for training new staff such as G2G Core Training, Continuing Education, or other relevant education and developing training materials that support professional growth.
  4. Providing support and guidance to management and other staff regarding policy questions, and ensuring that policies and procedures are being followed
  5. Processing Unemployment Claims, Employment Verifications, and Garnishments.
  6. Maintaining accurate and organized HR file systems.
  7. Conducting investigations and Overseeing employee disciplinary actions
  8. Facilitating the process for accommodations and approving all types of leaves of absence, including OFLA, ADA, etc.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a service mindset in leadership and a strong desire to help others.  This is not an entry level role and we expect the incoming manager to meet the following requirements. 


Minimum Requirements:  (You MUST meet all of these)

  • 2 Years of experience in the HR field (recruitment, benefits etc)
  • A Bachelor’s degree (any field) or equivalent experience as a HR generalist
  • Strong and professional communication skills
  • Ability to pass a state background check 
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to access and use the Google Platform


Preferred Qualifications:   (You do not need to meet these to be considered)

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management (or related field)
  • Additional experience as an HR generalist

Schedule:

 

  • Regular Business hours Monday - Friday
  • Expected 40 hour work weeks

  • Starting salary $55,000 DOE
