What we do:

 Good-2-Go Oregon is Central Oregon's premiere community-based support program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).  We specialize in high functioning adults who experience some form of Developmental Disability.   


The Employment Program helps clients find and maintain employment within the community.  Good 2 Go specializes in finding competitive, community-based employment with partners such as Safeway and Walmart.  The program first works with clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses, identifies positions they would succeed in, works with the client and community hiring managers to secure the client a position, and then finally works with the client to help them maintain their new job. 

What you will do:

The Employment Program Manager manages the staff and clients of the program.  They are responsible for oversight of scheduling, ensuring that services are provided and documented in accordance with our contracts, onboarding new clients, and ensuring the program and its employees remain compliant with our state requirements.  


Essential duties include: 

  

  • Providing direct management and supervision of a team of in-field staff
  • Overseeing clients and their services to make sure their contracts with Good-2-Go are being fulfilled and maintained
  • Assisting in the hiring and training of new employees
  • Assisting in reviewing and preparation of paperwork for the billing process
  • Meeting the financial goals of the Employment Program 
  • Ensure interdepartmental coordination for client services  
  • Maintain and utilize tracking reports for the Employment Program
  • Providing direct client support when other staffing options are not available

 

Hard Requirements:

The following requirements are hard requirements from the state.  We cannot make any exceptions to these requirements.


  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have one year documented experience working either with individuals with disabilities OR have one year of human service related experience such as: economical disadvantages, employment, abuse and neglect, substance abuse, aging, disabilities, prevention, health, cultural competencies, or housing.
  • A Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, social work or a related field or two+ years equivalent experience, including direct management of a team of employees 

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an extremely organized, sales focused individuals.  Candidates must show strong problem solving skills, communicate clearly, and have a solution orientated mindset.

Preference will be given if you:

  • Have a 4-year degree in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or other related fields.
  • Have professional experience working with people who experience developmental disabilities. 

Other Information:

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a lunch break
  • Previous program managers averaged a little over 40 hours per week.  We estimate this commitment to be around 170 hours/month or 42.5 hours/week.
  • Must be available for emergency contact outside of normal hours (though we expect this to be rare)


Compensation:

  • Starting Rate: $48,880/yr, Salary Exempt + Bonuses
